Vitamin D is my favourite vitamin. I read a book that talked about the recent studies showing that different cells in our body have Vitamin D receptors, which means that Vitamin D is used by our body in various ways, not just in supporting bone health. I also checked out Usana's research on askthescientists.com, which compared the Vitamin D levels of people taking Usana versus other brands, and the results were consistent: those taking Usana have more circulating Vit. D in their blood, about 5x more, and it's all within the healthy range.
